Quick thought… I sort of think the toughest part of trend following is actually the making money part. How many people have the discipline to stay in a trend when their account is already up 50%? But if you get out early, your account never gets to 300%. I’m saying that to myself as I suffer from that disease! I got out of my NVDA calls too early this week and it’s because I was afraid to lose what I already made.

I’m sure I’ll do the same with this one. I very much like how you finished the (original) book, Chapters 9,10 & 11. You leave the reader excited to get back to work. And you leave me an even bigger fan of Ed Seykota as well.

Hello Michael,
I now follow the CANSLIM method which is chart reading and fundamentals. It talks about letting your winners run as does your system. My biggest problem is just that, I cannot let my winners run. I do cut my losses short at 7-8%. But allowing my winners run, well, I just get nervous at the first downturn. How do you stop that?
I have read The Little Book of Trading and I am reading Trend commandments now. Which do you suggest I read next?
